Hollow Fiber Component Industry Standard
Dec 02, 2025| In terms of industry standards, hollow fiber modules must meet multiple international specifications. For example, the membrane fiber material must possess chemical stability (e.g., PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) can withstand strong acids and alkalis), mechanical strength (tensile and compressive strength), and biocompatibility (non-toxic and harmless). The membrane pore size distribution must be uniform, and the molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) must be clearly marked to ensure separation accuracy.
Simultaneously, the module must pass integrity tests (e.g., bubble point method, diffusion flow method) to prevent membrane fiber damage that could lead to separation failure.
